Our Indigenous hoop dancers shared the beauty, storytelling, and athleticism of Native culture alongside traditional Hispanic dance, artisan demonstrations, and historic activities that bring the past to life. Events like the Spring Festival provide meaningful opportunities to educate, inspire, and connect communities through the power of cultural preservation and performance.

Our hoop dancers will bring energy, movement, and cultural expression to this one-of-a-kind event, engaging audiences throughout the exhibition alongside performers, giant puppets, glowing creatures, and interactive characters.

The Youth Hoop Dance Championship is the Lightning Boy Foundation’s annual celebration of Indigenous culture, athleticism, and artistic expression. This free two-day event brings together Native youth from across the country to showcase their skills, share cultural traditions, and compete in a supportive environment.
The championship promotes cultural preservation, mentorship, leadership, and community while inspiring the next generation of hoop dancers and providing an opportunity for the public to experience the beauty and storytelling of Indigenous hoop dance.
